The faults and troubleshooting methods of CNC turning tools and tool holders are as follows:
1. Fault phenomenon: The tool cannot be released after it is clamped. Cause of failure: The spring pressure of the lock release knife is too tight. Troubleshooting method: adjust the nut on the spring of the loose lock knife so that the maximum load does not exceed the rated value.
2. Fault phenomenon: The tool sleeve cannot clamp the tool. Cause of failure: Check the adjusting nut on the knife sleeve. Troubleshooting method: Rotate the adjusting nuts at both ends of the tool sleeve clockwise, compress the spring, and pre-tighten the clamping pin.
3. Fault phenomenon: The tool falls off from the manipulator. Cause of failure: The tool is too heavy, and the locking pin of the manipulator is damaged. Troubleshooting method: the tool must not be overweight, replace the clamping pin of the manipulator.
4. Fault phenomenon: The tool changing speed of the manipulator is too fast. Cause of failure: The air pressure is too high or the opening is too large. Troubleshooting method: the pressure and flow of the air pump, rotate the throttle valve until the tool change speed is appropriate.
5. Fault phenomenon: The tool cannot be found when changing the tool. The cause of the failure: the combined travel switch for tool position coding, the proximity switch and other components are damaged, the contact is not good or the sensitivity is reduced. Troubleshooting method: replace damaged components.
